The MFA Women's Premier League is the pinnacle of women's competitive football in Mumbai. Serving as the highest tier in the city's football pyramid, the league hosts intense, full-season fixtures primarily at Bandra's Neville D'Souza Football Turf. It acts as a crucial scouting ground and a direct pathway for clubs aiming for the Maharashtra State and Indian Women's Leagues. While recent seasons have been dominated by the championship dynasty of Mumbai Knights FC, fierce challengers like Kenkre FC, PIFA Sports, SC Bacaim, and India Rush SC ensure a highly competitive landscape that continuously elevates and professionalizes women's football in India.
